I'd call the one who made the tunes and have him adjust the vane positions in the idle RPM range. There are threads on this site about how to tune for the 'LB7 Rumble' - if you search for that i think you can find what you're looking for if you want to try it yourself, or to let your tuner know.

Go to tables b2214 and b2224 highlight all cells 0-15mm3 and 300-1000 rpm and set to 10.

That should take away the hiss at idle.

can you log your truck at idle and post the log for us to look at?

Log RPM, Mainrate and mainrate2 (i think on lbz?), desired turbo boost position, desired turbo vane position, actual vane position, throttle position, actual boost and anything else you can think of that i'm missing related to turbo operation. Maybe coolant temp too...

Doesnt have to be a long log - probably 20 or 30 seconds and we could see whats going on and try to make some changes....

That wasn't enough, need to go from 0-35mm and 0-800 rpm and use 20% to do away with the hiss, should only need to do it in the target tables only, no need in the max vane tables

I always do 10% at 0-15mm3 from 300 to 1000rpm in all the vain position tables. No issues to date.

See image and set like this in all Vain pos. tables.

You will get a position test once in awhile, are you talking about that?

lot of people dont like posting tunes they paid for, neither do the tuners that built the tune. Thats all I was getting at.

I assumed it was a relatively stock tune. I guess I skipped reading the part about it being for his race tunes.

Just trying to help him out

I've always done 0-30 mm3 and 0-1000 RPM set to 25% in tables B2210-B2215 and had excellent luck.

I know this is an old thread but I can't figure out why you can only increase the target tables in each tune (A1114-A4114) and don't need to also increase the limit in the base tune (ie tables B2222-B2224)? I would have thought in that case that the base tune limits would restrict the target position but it seems not to. Does the minimum position table (B2225) also work the same way?

Can someone explain how these tables work together?
