Diesel Shop in Jewett city. No updates as of yet due to holidays. Hoping for some good news by end of the week.

After all tests were run and checked out fine Trans still won't engage in any gear leaving it to be that there's somethin internally wrong.

Take it apart slowly. Measure clearances, count the clutches, take lots of pictures of everything as you go. Especially the gaskets directly behind the bellhousing. That way if the problem isn't obvious once you get it apart you can post the pictures and we can help you diagnose it. Good luck.

If you pull the connector at the back of the trans, you should have hydraulic third and reverse, if you don't something is wrong internally and you will have to tear in to it

I had an Allison I built do similar, single sided c1's were installed incorrectly, no forward gears but had reverse though...

You would have had 5th if you could of ever got there. But what your saying is exactly why this is so strange. The only clutch that would give him no 1st or reverse would be C5. So unless there is some C5 clutch discs laying on the original builders bench or he forgot to reinstall the C5 apply piston seals I don't see how he could lose C5.

Still in process of installing everything; however it seems the input shaft was locked up not allowing any planetarys or clutches to move either way. Just taking my time making sure everything is done right but will post once Trans is back in one piece.

Transmission is assembled in truck and shifts great. Couldn't be happier. Not 100% sure what caused the issue in the first place but if I had to guess I would lean towards clearances between apply plates and clutch packs not in correct order. Glad this project has come to an end and thanks for all input!
