No drl's

My DRL's stopped wokring today. checked the fuse, then checked the socket and im not getting power to the socket. what else. i even swapped around the relay.

The relay is controlled by the bcm. A quick check would be to see if you have a power & ground on pins 85/86 if the answer is no ground if memory serves the bcm provides that also check pins 30/87 one of them should be powered also.

if not. I need a new BCM? Do I need one or is the truck fine without it.

Having the same problem right now it's really making me mad that I cant figure it out

Truck will do fine with jacked up drl function, I'm not entirely sure how removing the bcm would work out if that's what your asking, but I'll venture to say it will probably be pretty unhappy.

it's a pretty simple circuit actually, if you want I can shoot a schematic to ya if you pm me your email.

This may be a silly suggestion but is the parking brake pedal ALL the way up?

ok so i was just a ra tard. I guess it was a bit to overcast for them. they are working now.

I think I would be happy if mine stopped working, annoying having lights on all the time
