As the title states I don't have cruise or trailer brakes when I press the brake pedal. If I manually engage the brakes they work perfectly fine. I put a new brake switch controller as many have said this would fix the issue but nothing. Need this working so looking here for some help.

Please let me know what you did to fix as I don't want to make a trip to the dealer.

Thank you,

Julian

Might check grounds on trailer, I have ground problems on one of my trailers and it knocks out my cruise at night  Trying to trace it

check fuses.
Brake controller has 4 wires. constant power, brake input, brake output, and ground.

Check fuses but will go through them again.

Trailers not the issue. Its on the truck side. Had the issue before brake controller was installed and just haven't been able to get that code to clear or the cruise to work.

My bet is on the brake switch

Take a meter and check the white wire at the switch. It should go to 12v when you press the pedal.

On dp someone mentioned that having the airdog hooked to the fuse box could cause this issue. Anyone on here find that to be the case?

I currently have the same issue, did anyone find any fixes? I've found where they said your lit pump signal wire in the fuse box can cause it, so I removed it and still produced the same results. Brake Switch is producing 12 volts when depressed. I'm a little stumped here.

Did you look at the brake pedal switch connector good they tend to have broken wires. Also you should do a brake pedal position sensor learn with a tech 2 after replacing switch
