What tire pressure do you run? Could one have more air then the other. I know I had two guys swapping out my tires and like always the shop was swamped and in a hurry. One guy aired up the tires he was working on the 50 psi while the other was only running 36 psi in the two he did. I probably wouldn't have caught it if I hadn't ask one guy what he was airing them up to. (36 psi) I checked them when i got home because I wanted more air in these tires. If its not that it could just be a bad batch from nitto. I know I've had problems with there terra grapplers before, defect wise. I tore the belt in a new 285 8 ply on the dyno and it's not like I'm layin down massive hp. I can't complain about the 420S...yet. So far so good.

I run 38 PSI in the front and 30 in the back. The pressures are the same side to side. I've tried swapping front tires left to right and even doing a tire rotation. I've got about 15k on them, and they don't seem to have any other problems other than pulling.

I think theyre the cats ass really. I have never had problems with them. 35k out of my first set. My second set wore pretty fast (15k) on the rears cause I towed a trailer to Alaska and had a lot of crap in the bed so it wore the centers pretty bad. They are by no means a good tire if you tow a lot with a heavy tounge weight load. Probablby max 800 lbs tounge weight.
They are cheap, balance good, wear great and have great dry road traction as well as rainy traction. Snow not so much.

You don't have any problem with them making your truck pull?

Thought I might also add some info... Had these in the snow/ice a few days ago. They suck their own nuts!!

As good as they are on dry road, they are terrible in the snow. I run a 305/50/20 so im sure the large footprint (read: weight distribution) does not help one bit.

On the track however even my slow lifted LLY cut a 1.78 on them.

I love my 420s. Couldn't get three sets of A/Ts to last more than 20k miles. Had BFGs waaaaaaaaay overpriced to get 20k same with the Nitto TGs didn't make it past 20k. I'm already @ 15k on my Nittos and I have over half the tread to go! Talk about a softer quieter ride too. For the price ill never go back to ATs.

FWIW I will however vouch for Hancooks. Have em on the wife's 09 Tahoe and they are doing great.
