Heath, new member here lives about 2 hours North of me in Brisbane Australia. He was good enough to lend me a part for my LLY and drove down on Saturday in his 2000 Nissan Patrol that hes forced an LBZ and Alli 6speed into. It has 411's and 35s and after a ride Id say would go 12s ok what with 443 at the wheels and half the weight of my truck. It has alot of trick things in it and looks like I got a buddy to help support the diesel drags out here. Thanks Heath. Maybe you wouldnt mind telling us about your build. I know theres alot more than the chrome moly pipework you can see everywhere.

You Aussies are some horsepower crazed fools!!! I like it!:D

Love the little rotary powered RX's and corollas and such too, that sound makes my hair stand on end! I want a Datsun 510 with a PAC20b or a Dyson!:D

thanks

Hey everyone thanks for the kind words.

Yeah the instrument cluster was a fluke really. I bought it and it fitted very well.

I removed the cab to install the motor and trans. I wanted the motor back for better front rear balance and i still wanted full bump stop compression in the front suspension. I then lowered the body and started cutting. The only major cutting was for the exhaust.

All the fire wall, inside and underside of the cab have been lined with polyurethance, to give it a water proof cab. And i can hose it out also.

The motor and trans is standard for now. I thought it would be easier to get it all running, before i start playing with it (it makes it hard also with mick just down the road now, oh well).

I plan on doing some drag racing and who knows. It weight in a 5400lbs full of fuel as you see it in the pics, so i was happy with that. I was building it for 4x4 comp truck but see what happens. No hurry really, see what this drag racing thing brings.

Any other question just ask away, cheers Heath.
