NHRDA edmonton event

Good event today, 4 trucks in superstreet ran below what was the record. Torrey Werenka (dodge) ran a 10.05, then a 9.69, then a 10.09 to back up the 10.05 to become the record holder. because he's not licensed he would be kicked off if he ran another 9 so he let off at the 1000 or so. Simon got his 10 finally, congrats to their team. Chad Riley ran mid 8's in his altered chassis. Dirtymax seemed to be running well and they were going to turn it up higher than ever before for the finals but we had to leave. I realized my converter was on it's way out last night and would only spool to 1900 rpm. I ran an 11.2, 10.90 and 10.95, then she locked up solid. In superstreet i believe 8 trucks ran in the 10's.

Damn Torrey's truck sounds like a beast. Glad he was able to peddle it and get the record. Any specifics on his truck, it's a common rail I believe, does he spray it or was that all motor. Rob said he thought that Dave at Ultimate Transmission in Boise built his tranny. Good job by everyone. This is definitely a must make event next year. Do you know who won the Sportman brackets? Also how did the Dmax's from J&R do?

It is quite uncommon for the CR's to run 9's on #2 IIRC the Drever truck ran 10.5's on #2 and sprays it too 9.9's and quicker

That white Dodge ec/lb from Washington 2wd I think his name is Jim Calhoon (sp) an older fella, he won Sportsman ET I think he was dialed in at 13.44, Kelsie Epp was 2nd in ET, I think she was dialed in at 13.05 or something like that. I think the white Dmax from J&R ran like a 10.42 or something like that, and the blue one ran low to mid 11's I think.

Yesterday in Edmonton was a blast, lots of fast trucks. You gotta give Torrey's team a lot of credit for the work they did after that first 10.05 run...it was hard on that dodge. But everyone who raced yesterday gave it their all. It was nice to see everyone who came, a few people i haven't seen in a while. I think Dale was able to fit some video into his beer drinking schedule this weekend. So he might have something to post....

Torreys truck runs 1 stage of spray and it's small (.060) he was running 3 stages and running 10.50's @ 130 ish, took 2 stages off and it's running way stronger. It used to die 200ft. out. he runs twins, an S510 and a 71mm turbonetics i believe ( not positive) It has an Ultimate tranny that packed it in last night, he went sled pulling after the event. His tranny has been sled pulled and drag raced almost every weekend this season. Brians truck (J&R) ran a 10.46 and grenaded the duraflite. 2 duraflites in 2 weekends. Jamie's truck ran low to mid 11's.

Ken, the Duraflite is not the end all be all transmission that guys want us to believe remember that :thumb: 47's and 48's break ALL OF THE TIME
