Racing Rob is like knowing you're bringing a sharp stick to a gun fight. I put it on the new #4 tune, cut a crap 60' and just reached for the the :baby: .028 jet nitrous button (it's just there for spooling if need be). It gave me something to do while I was getting my ass kicked. You can only press on the go pedal and the button so hard....
hadn't really ever thought about it but you sure have a point there.
I really wish I had enough money & spare time to dedicate to trying to catch him but, I don't think I could find enough dedication to bust my ass all day working on other peoples stuff then work on my own.
Great event, the Friday night I ran a personal best, 12.50 at 100mph(on the brakes hard) but still broke out lol.

Kelsie I think you have to upload a dyno graph and a timeslip into your garage on here and then get ahold of Rob (poltergeist), Kat or Pat. I think.

yeah what happened to the back window of your guys tow truck? i walked by it sat morning and saw all the tape and what not, then few hours later it had a new window in it lol.

NHRDA Top Diesel Champion

Chad Riley the 2010 Pro Stock World Champion decided to step up to the Top Diesel catagory in 2011.
When people first see the 1930 Dodge Roadster they usually ask is he in the right class? Then after you see the left front tire doing the famous 300 foot wheelie and then the score board reads 8's at over 160mph you realize wow that was unbelievable.
Moving into Top Diesel proved to be a great deciision as he defeated John Robinson in the filnals runnig a 8.30Et at 158.17mph.

Graydon Udelhoven got the call to drive the world famous MBRP Dirty Max in the Pro Stock Category and he proved that his is capable of piloting the Dirty Max as he now is crowned as 2011 Desert Diesel Champion .
Conrats to Graydon Udelhoven on being 2011 Desert Diesel Champion.

.Rob Coddens driver of the Maxed Out Racing team decided to run both Pro Street and Super Street. Rob and the Maxed Out Truck once again proved how consistant and durable the truck is. Rob had to hot lap the truck more than once since he also was running the Super Street class.
Rob had Chaz Lightner in the Finals but the Maxed Out truck proved why they are 2009 Pro Street Champion and drove around Chaz for the win and Title of 2011 Desert Diesel Champion

Rob Coddens current NHRDA National Record Holder in the Super Street Class broke his own MPH record of 138.94mph and set the new MPH record running 140.67 this was done while racing Shawn Ellerton also former Super Street record holder in the finals.
Shawn said he thought he had a chance at the Maxed Out Truck until about the 1000 foot mark when Rob started pull away and ran 9.95et at 140.67mph to Shawns losing 10.46et at 132.63. Shawn later laughed saying that when he talked to Rob after the race that Rod stated he had never had the truck on level 5 but he didnt know what Shawn had left in the old ford from Alberta and he was not taking any chances.
Congrats to 2011 Desert Diesel Champion and National Record Holder Rob Coddens.

.The NHRDA debuted their new 11.90 index class at the Desert Diesel Nationals.
Nick Mahoney accepted the challenge in his 2005 GMC Sierra and was dead on the money running several passes that were consistantly 11.91 to 11.93 and proved to much for his competitors.

Verlon Southwick is not a stranger to the winner circle , last year he drove his way to be the 2010 Jackolope Diesel Champion. Verlon had his work cut out for him since the 4 time Bracket Champion Jim Calhoun was their to make sure no one else was taking the money home.
In the end Verlon stepped up to the challenge running 12.77 on a 12.69 dial and with cutting a .0735 light he didnt leave much room for his competitors to even have a chance.

Congrats to everyone that won! I had a blast and its nice to be able to put faces with screen names. Lol! Made some friends and got to run my truck at a NHRDA event. Priceless!
Oh and Justin thank you for posting and taking the videos just noticed you have my 12.0 from qualifying
