Had a great time today other than some bad issues with the truck this mornin. Beat brian in a 60-100 run
and watch steve beat brian to the finish at the track. Crappy part is i woke up this mornin, hopped in the truck and started it up with it blowing white smoke and not clearing up. drove up to mcdonalds with no change. After freakin out some thinkin i bent my rods, steve, brian, and i determind it had to be a stuck injector. drove it for 15min more to see if it would unstick but no change. hook efi live up and found if we shut injector 5 off, truck quit smokin and ran better. checked balance rates and cyl 5 was at +13 or 14. so i took it back home and left it for the day. a bit upsetting as i wanted to do show and shine and run in TNT jsut to get some cool pics takin.
Still had tons of fun hangin out with nick, ruben, wes, joe, ben, jason, anthony, trent, matt, steve, and brian. Was also great to meet Rob (idahorob) when i picked up my gears. very down to earth guy and will to jsut BS. Congrats again rob! Also congrats to nick as well again! those rags lasted jsut long enough
As for the truck, she will be in the 12s very soon. gunna mod my regulator and the little ports in the gears on the cp3. should net me enough fuel for a 12.9 on 37s. Could not believe my 7600lbs truck (pulled 260lbs out from my spare and tool box) hit a 13.0. i was jsut flat out surprised.
I think steve and i and possibly brian may head out for the redding race in CA be we shall see
. Now im goin to go get hammered
