I have a 2001 duramax and the speedo on the instrument cluster only goes to 100. Since i have bigger tires i can go past that a little bit and i was curious if i could put an 03+ cluster in? Or maybe if theres a way i could put an escalde cluster in? So if anyone has ever tried it let me know.

I don't think it will work since the controllers changed in 03. Maybe an escalade from the same year? Don't know if they're any different. But I'm not sure. Need Bens input.

Why not recalibrate for your tire size?

We are currently working on a kit to retrofit a 2003-2005 instrument cluster into a 2001-2002 truck...

During testing, we now have the 2003-2005 cluster 99% working in a 2001-2002 truck...however there are some issues getting the volt meter to work on the 2003-2005 cluster. We are currently working on a solution to keep the volt meter functional...

Buy a gps and set it on the dash, it'll read way faster than 100 and more accurate...

Very cool you've almost got it done Ben
