Help: Newbie! Looking at a 13 ccsb duramax

Hey guys I'm new here and hopefully will stick around if I get the new girl. I currently own a 05 Chevy 2500hd ccsb which I have had since new. I am looking to pick up a 13 2500hd ccsb duramax. I have never owned a diesel before so tell me what to look for when I go to test drive. Any info is much appreciated!! Here are some pics, 37,000 miles and motor looks stock.

At 37,000 miles, and full emissions, there's not a whole lot to look for. Ask for the service history from GM.

I figured, there are no service records from gm. The guy is a retired gm mechanic and did all work himself. Had the truck to pull his camper but now has the camper on a permanent camping site so no longer needs the truck. What motor is this duramax? Not familiar with all the motor titles? Is this a good year for the duramax? New to all of this so any info is much appreciated! Thanks

It's an lml motor and yes they have been doing very well. Sharp truck
