ok, the names Corey i am not only new to the blono area but also to diesels. I just purchesed a 2003 ec/sb lb7. Totally stock. I just put a 4" straight pipe on it. sounds really good. I want to start building the truck up to a 450-500 horse range. Before i start changing turbos or transmissions or head studs or anything crazy i want to get all my safety in place first. I wanna do gauges and intake first thing. So im looking for some advice on guys who have an LB7. Im thinking a triple pod on the pillar. what gauges you think would be best to get and where is a good place to buy them? i dont need something top of the line just something that functions good and looks good. I also want something that is fairly simple to put in. The truck has never had injectors or anything done to it. which worries me but the truck runs like a top. it looks like you just rolled it off the showroom floor. i got a great deal on it. so let me know what you think. i need some advice here. Thanks!:D

Give River City Diesel a call over in Peoria. (about an hour west of boi-no on 74) Tell them you want a triple pod on your piller with boost, pyro, and fuel rail pressure. Have them install the probe in your manifold, and your good to go. Asfar as an intake go to your local auto parts store and have them price match a good internet price on what you want, then in most cases you can get it next day.

LML manifold replaces your stock drivers side exhaust manifold which is dented for "clearance" of the steering shaft. The clearance is not needed. It will reduce your EGTs a good bit. You will at least need your pyro first for it or a threaded plug to put in it until you get the gauge and sensor.
You will find a lot of helpful friendly people on here with an abundance of information, its a great site.

you can get plug your resonator, the thing that says 6.6 turbo diesel in the engine compartment. You can either buy a plug or manufacture one. It helps some. You will find a lot of debate on the intake.

If u want a cheap set of gauges the way u want glowshift gauges are $266 shipped to u with a pillar pod and your choice of 3 gauges.

U came to the right place for knowledge on d-maxs, there are so many people on here that know so much. Good luck on your build!
