Hey everyone. Just wanted to take a min to say hello. I bought my truck about a year ago now and just starting to rub some coin together to set her up like i want and given the mods are all new to me in the diesel world im sure i could use some help and info along the way. I have an automotive background so im sure i will catch on quick. My baby is an 08 sierra lmm extended cab. She is lifted 6in with 35's sitting on 18inch rockstars (yes like everyone else in the world i know). As of today she is all stock engine wise but as of next tuesday i have an appointment to have the dpf deleted with a 5in turbo back exhaust installed and a dsp5 efi live tune. So basically i will be poking around probably asking a few questions as to what i can do to make her safe for the added 100-150+ hp gains (depending on which click of the knob i choose that day:thumb:) without breaking anything. Im in the market for transgo jr shift kit to start and probably some gauges to keep an eye on things. Any other suggestions im open :beer:beer:beer

Welcome. Shift kit and gauges are definitely a good starting point. You might also consider a lift pump to keep nice clean fuel supplied to the cp3. Helps with performance and longevity of the fuel system! EGR blocker or delete is also good to have just to keep all the soot out of the motor.

Welcome, first thing id do if I were you is lift pump and built trans, when you build a house you always start with a good solid foundation, everything else can be added in the future little by little.:thumb:
