hello guys, wondering if you can help me out and sorry if this has been asked before, i have a 03 duramax cc right now and i just got a superchips flash paq off of ebay for $130 and its a night and day difference from stock, great mileage too. i originally wanted to get gauges and a pod and after thinking about it i could get something like the edge juice and have gauges and a tuner all in one. What i wanna know is would i really be able to use much of the settings on the edge since my truck is basically stock except, 4" straight pipe, cold air intake, and from what im told a bigger intercooler tube. What can SAFELY be used as far as powerwise with a stock tranny? Id like a little more power than the superchips but not if im gonna blow my tranny. Thanks for reading my rant lol:dontknow:

How much power is the Superchips adding? With your wheel/tires and lift I wouldn't go over 100hp. Before I got a trans I was running a 90 horse tune and I could feel my transmission slowly getting worse over time. Not many people will support the Edge here I imagine. If you really want an Edge I might be able to sell you the ned edge cts or whatever its called.

the superchips gives 83.5hp and 144tq, i would like to get the edge just because of the gauges and programmer all in one but like i said if i reallly cant use much of it its hard to justify spending that kinda money , then i could just buy gauges

You can update the superchips for free on there site. I made a big difference when I had mine as far as drivebility. The new tunes were alot smoother than what it was originally programmed with. It gives you about 40 hp more too on the big tune

the edge isnt a bad chip for an every day truck. that isnt looking to break any 'drag raceing land speed'. i think there nice power at a push of a botton you can add power or remove power with in secounds. and you also have the gauges with seem to be a nice perk. BUTTT!!!!! i wouldnt set that baby on the number 5 setting and see how fast you can get every wear ether. unless you wont to buy new trans later but i would say youer safe up to atleast the 3rd setting the edge offer just my 2cents.

do you have the 2805 or the 2855 model number? there is an update for the 2805 which gives it the newer tunes found in the 2855. I'm not sure where to find them on hte site though as its been updated since I downloaded the new tunes. Maybe email them and they can give you a link.
EDIT you'll see where your able to download the wizard under there download section, I had some troubles with the flash player on there site too btw
