New Weight Box

These are som pics of my weight box (behind bumper rule) and my pulling setup
I will post a video of my first pull with this setup from sunday when I get a copy of it.
Let me know what you think of it.
The truck pulled alot better with the front weight.

Actually it is 596 lbs with the weight of the box plus the weight inside of it.
I still have room to add more.

Should be working for everyone now. The album that 95 z71 originally linked to he had set as Private, I reset it as Public.

Do you have any pics of under the truck of what u mounted the box to?? And how did u make it? Like just solid piece of metal, melt lead into it, or ??????

It is mounted into the frame where the tow hooks mount. 3x3x.250 wall tube mitre cut and welded to make the supports and welded to the base plate.. The base is 14"x36"x.5 plate with a 5"x36"x.5 back plate and 4" high sides. It is open on top.The front plate is 7"x36"x.250 plate and is bolted to the tubes.. The box empty weighs about 130 lbs. I used counter balance weights from an elevator(9.750"x9.750"x1.250") and some 2"x2" solid bar pieces to add weight for pulling. I will try to get some pictures of the empty box and the weight in it this weekend.
