Yeah I'm doing trans before I do anything more. I've done dmax thing with lots of power for along time. not gonna try and see if a stock trans will hold. gonna do it right, so I know it holds, just like I did on the last few.

Ya know, I would do my Trans but that thing is rock solid yet like never slips the convertor is only thing and I really havnt messed it up yet. Ive got a 1057 sitting in shop waiting to go in. Im dialed in to any slippage in tranny and its good yet. Stock except for korys trans tunes.... almost as good as Ford tranny lol

sweet :) can't believe you got rid of your other one for pretty much same truck. but I'm sure it's gonna be killer.

Meh. Mine had over 50k on it and I've had it for 30 months. New one is exactly the same but a different color and has a bumper to bumper 100k warranty. Plus, there are way more differences from a very early 15 to a late 16 than I thought...:)

Locking tailgate with doors and remote, new tow mirrors, wireless phone charging, 4 g wifi, traffic updates, text to talk receiving and sending texts, different software, different backup camera, headlights are real hids and are WAY brighter, AC seats work 100% better than my 15 and it honestly feels stronger stock than my old one with a 50 rwhp delete tune and a lift pump...

Fuel forged 29 in black and machined. I am keeping my exhaust and lift pump for the new one. Just going to put 5k on it before I delete it....

Your local dealership will honor that 100K B2B warranty with it being deleted?!?! And those wheels are going to look perfect with that color truck :woott:

They could careless if I delete it, they do make me return them to stock when I trade them in though. The 15 is at Diesel Addiction getting returned to stock...

that's gonna look sweet with that color. especially when u get the tint on there.

Thank you! My LMM was stealth grey metallic and I loved it once I finished it up. I powdered coated everything satin black, thinking of going that route again. I miss that truck... Lol...

That's pretty cool. Probably because you're a good customer to them. I thought on the newer trucks that they had to relay info to GM to get big things warrantied though.

Our dealer here used to look the other way for exhaust/programmers but I kinda doubt they would on the newer trucks now with all the deletes that need to be done.

I really like my Cummins for towing and generally a good truck, first Cummins I've had. As stated I'm not a fan of the Trans but pick your poison. I average better unloaded and towing mpg than any dmax I had to date. I'm a die hard Dmax guy but wanted to try something different. Doesn't mean I'll stick with one. A 75 over stock, stock trans, efi tuning made 605hp on a 15 Cummins with Ryans tuning. Who knows how long the trans will last.

Brian,

What do you think of a 2012 Laramie, loaded, 10k miles, s475 over stock compound kit, lift pump, and amp steps for 44k. Stock fuel system and trans though.

That Trans won't like that 75mm one bit. Decent deal.

Not at all if I throw any fuel at it lol, but at that price I can build the trans and make the power I want. Though Im not sure where to go for that build. Maybe send it to mike if he will do a 68rfe.
