I start at 20 mm3 & work my way up slowly. It spools quick after 2000 rpm. My converter is loose enough. I'm not getting enough air to burn the fuel to spool the spinny thing that makes the air
We put a simple cast 468 on a buddy's lbz with stock fuel. His spools as quick as stock driving around. Not a drop of smoke. I tuned his & I tuned mine.
I'm happy with how it runs after it lights. It cleans up my 60 overs right after the 60 foot. I think I'll just hook up a little spray to help spool it. Maybe last this year and build a good one for next year. This motor isn't gonna last very long above 600 hp anyway. No sense in changing the turbo setup again.
Enough thread jacking. I love the way Mike's runs. Would love to see that thing at sea level:thumb:
