I've got 2 injectors I thought were bad maybe it's the rod bent causing the balance rate to be off. 6 are perfect and 2 are off

Wouldn't it idle funny if the rods were bent, or have blow by? How do I do a compression check?

Buy a compression tester from Harbor Freight, there like 35 bucks. Pull glow plugs and check. Do you have a puff of white smoke on start up? Sometimes take longer to start then usual?.

Puff of black smoke, and start up is always the same, hazes at idle also

I'd do a compression test just to make sure. The hazing is just your 100 overs most likey.

holy sheeeeit... I was worried about my 60's and the stock bottom end....

Funks was a lbz.. Mine is lly.. I had 40 overs and an s363... I had no signs of any bent rods.. It started fine and ran clean.. But when we pulled the heads off for the build, 7 out if 8 were about an 1/8" to 1/4" lower than the tallest rod.. Safety feature in my opinion.. U keep bashing with big fuel I have a feelin ur gonna need to patch your block

I did a compression test the day before my #8 rod broke and all were within 10#'s of each other and around 400#'s. Needless to say the rod was bent. But it went a ton of high 7.2x's and low 7.3x's. Mine was hazing blue at idle pretty bad when it was cold
