You can compare the prices to two things. Automotive hydro graphics shops usually charge around $500-600 to do an ATV, ATV shops charge about $800-900 to do the same job. There are a couple well known ATV shops that do the water transfer, but you can save money by taking it elsewhere.

I was actually going to buy a 2011 Dmax but they wouldn't drop the price enough, the dodge guys more than doubled what the Chevy dealership took off. Plus I love the megacab and since they redesigned the body and interior. I think they have come a long way from what they used to be. I am not the biggest fan of the 6.7 cummins, especially in stock form. This thing was a straight up terd bone stock once you put a trailer behind it. It runs great now that the emissions crap is gone. I am worried about the trans now, but we will cross that bridge soon enough.

Overall, it's not a bad pickup. Very comfortable, more than enough room, and runs fine after the tuning. I don't know if I would buy another one, but I am happy with it for now. If chevy would come out with a megacab dmax, I would trade mine in a heartbeat. I have been trying to find a little Dmax project to play with. We need a 10 second beater!!!

I hear ya. I have been lookin at the new dmaxs also. Same truck as my ltz but 2012 is 60k+. Wtf. And they don't budge much. No way am I payin 45k+ for a truck that can't be played with. I wanna get a new dd and make mine now a toy but not happening with those prices. I'd have to sells, couple sleds, couple 4wheelers, and a few bobcats of mine to pay for it. And that isn't even a thought yet. I do live the room in a mega cab tho. But that about it for me. jmho.
