You best pray that it doesn't get worse... Damn lb7's

in drive they should be under 6 with the engine up to operating temp

Im gonna run some fuel additive through it, and pray.

And its a LLY, not some silly LB7 nonsense. :D

Be careful on level 4 you'll put the Trans in limp mode. Have the same unit and did that about 6-8 times before I had the Trans rebuilt.

So the unit will only measure up to 22psi? I'm still using this unit for monitoring. Of need be I'll get a boost gauge but I all ready have the EGT on it.

Checked balance rates a couple times today, hot/cold idle/Drive conditions, that one cylinder is still out but its much better at hot temps.

So, I guess keep an eye on it and try some fuel additives, if it goes out of spec, time for a new one?

For stockers, can you replace just one or is it a full set at once type deal?

One at a time, and you will know when its time, it will have a tough time at idle.

Balance rate test

1. Start and run the engine until the engine coolant temperature (ECT) is more than 82°C (180°F).

2. Turn OFF all accessories.

3. Hold the brake pedal in the fully applied position. A hiss will be noticeable when the brake is fully applied.

4. Place the transmission in Drive.

5. Idle the engine for more than 30 seconds.

6. Record the Balancing Rate Cyl.1–8 parameters from the scan tool while the engine is at idle speed.

7. Repeat steps 2–6 with the transmission in Neutral.

−6 mm³ and +6 mm³

−4 mm³ and +4 mm³

I made 40 psi when my turbo was stock, my tuner made some changes and got it down to 32-33 psi and power and egts were better. 40 psi does nothing but hurt you on a stock charger.

Simplest install ever, why is working on the truck so much easier than my car.
