hey my name is corey, i just recently bought a 2006 lbz duramax regular cab with 70,000 miles on it, im not sure where to post questions on this site and im sure someone might blast me for putting it here but here we go, truck is all stock but when its idling for 15-20 min and i take off it blows out white smoke, i checked the oil it don't smell like raw diesel, with 70,000 miles on a lbz could the injectors possibly be going out, im going to take it back to the dealer tomorrow to check the flow rate on them i just wanted to have idea what it might be for a lower mile lbz

Usually when it s cold it smoke but when the truck warms up more it goes away. I thought the same thing when I had my lb7. Now that I own a lbz it does the same thing too.

Condensation will still build in the exhaust like a gasser and have the white steam trail behind you for a little bit. If it isn't using antifreeze or oil, it is nothing to worry about

lets say it wasnt the cold weather could it possibly be a dirty injector? somone said to maybe run a bottle of lucas though it to see if it helps. the motor sounds/runs great when running and idling and when it does white smoke its a slight haze,

^^^ this.. Keep an eye on your fluids and IMO I would change the oil soon anyway so you know what oil is in your truck and when it actually was last serviced.. Not just when the dealer told you..
