Hey fellas what's going on new to the site thing....i am thinking about getting a duramax.... 2003 2500hd 4x4 it is LT package with almost every factory option I think.... With 180k all stock powertrain, newer 265 tires & front end parts... Owner claims they are the original and that injectors were done at 110k... the tach reads incorrectly.. Asking 15000.


What I need to know is it worth it.... I have test driven it and it runs & drives excellently.

I would just like to hear others input on this situation

Take it to a dealer, or a good diesel shop, and have them give it a good once over. The charge should be less than $100 for them to check the injectors, rail pressures and all that good stuff with the tech II. As well as return rates. I kick myself for not doing that when I bought my truck, money well spent I think.
