Company trucks both have same problem...pulling loads they both give codes and ho to reduced power ... One is a 2007 and one is a 2009...I have done bottle test and got nothing both are around 170,000 miles. What are acceptable balance rates for injectors?

Fuel filters were replaced and collapsed fuel line by trans replaced. One truck has been doing this for 40,000 miles other one just started. Dealership is claiming injectors...just seems like an injector problem would get worse in 40,000 miles

There are a shit load of things that make the DIC say Reduced Power... cant remember the codes. Injectors sound like a shot gun guess. But we need some more facts.

Both run great. No rough idle, no smoke. But the Kansas wind pulling stock trailers has the 2009 acting up. When it does fuel filter life will go from 99% to 0% even with brand new filter. 2007 is just a standby now.

So your telling me you never got the 07 fixed just stopped towing with it and every time the 09 tells you somethings wrong it gets ignored for 40000 miles. Supply, pump, or inj return issue. Time to spend some money. Let us know how you make out, good luck.

The code is probably P0087, low rail pressure. You're most likely looking at either injectors or a CP3.
