the switch (DSP2 or DSP5) is the only thing that limits the number of tunes you can save to your truck. what is the flash pak used for tuning or is that on the computer only then the pak transfers it over? can a laptop be used in cab to monitor various things?

Laptop monitors everything! You can choose what you want to monitor! Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

Correct - you can monitor anything that there is a sensor for or that the computer calculates based off of multiple sensors.

ill have to do some research on those intake mods... as far as efi live i was looking on a site it for the v2 they were offering $799 for two trucks i got a buddy with a lb7 that will go half with me if that is still available ill sell my edge for gauges...looks like a muffler delete real soon also im young so i like it loud!!!

The V2 is $799 from any vendor and always includes 2 VIN licenses with purchase - meaning you can tune 2 trucks. EFI Live does not come with any tunes "loaded on it" or anything - it is a tool that allows us to custom tune GM vehicles. Many vendors include at least one free tune with purchase - meaning when you get your EFI Live unit you'll download your stock tune, email it to them, they will modify it into the performance tune of your choice, send it back to you and you will load it in the truck. Unless the 2nd truck has the same stock tune this tune should not be loaded in the 2nd truck - instead the whole process would need to be done again.

You should call up a vendor and get a quote for EFI Live, DSP2 or DSP5 switches for both trucks, and custom tunes for both trucks.

IMO my 5" Flo~Pro with muffler is just as loud as Winston's 5" straight pipe when you get on it, but mine doesn't drone when you tow or cruise down the highway - his does and it gets annoying.
