Naw your right too. I meant in those manufs, they have a 55 thats rated higher and the 50 is rated for SUV type vehicles (lower load rating). They both have a load rating, but they only offer the higher load rating in the 55 series and the lower rating in thee 50 series. There is a few other "street tread" design that are like this as well. Is because a 50 series is common on a 20" on a SUV, but a 55 series is more common on a pickup with a 20" wheel.

oh haha i got ya mike. that makes mroe sense now :D

on dot suitcase scales my truck weighs less than 2k per corner :thumb:

and especially when i lighten the ol girl up for the track i am hoping to be under 6400.

i am not dumb enough to try and haul a load or big trailer with these tires. believe me i have more sense than that :)

my falkens are only rated to 2600ish IIRC... so far no trouble..

That's what I've been wondering. I'm looking at the Proxes st II or the general uhp in this size for a set of PYO's. Just wondering how they'd do everyday unloaded driving. Truck only weighs 7k now.

OK I tried to find some for myself but toyo's site only list a 265/70 and a 275/60. Did you go with a different size than originally planned ?

What's his sellers name ?

any update on the ST II's?

I send Toyo an Email from their site probably once a month or a little longer asking when they'll produce the STII in a 275/70-16 and state everytime that it was a "Very popular size in the ST we used to buy."
