P and R is garbage anyway. u will rarely ever change anybodies views, so why bother. but it does seem to be a sore spot.I have followed ur accomplishments since u broke in at DP, up or down, always has been interesting. We are all interested in Dmax enhancement, including future development of the line.
More members = more advertisers= more money= more product testing= advantage for us all
Thanks! Most my posts on DP were aimed at helping others and to get support from shops for more Duramax performance products. But eventually as time went on, it became harder and harder to post tech there without getting trashed. I'm just a hotrodder who likes to have fun with our trucks, and getting slandered for my hobby was a big turn-off.
It was a hard decision whether to allow advertisers on the site, and at first we didn't. But we came to realize that folk come to a site not only to learn and share info, but also to find parts. So we have carefully screened a limited number of sponsors who we believe would help the readers. There won't be unrelated sponsors, nor ones with questionable business ethics. Currently sponsor fees do not support the costs of running the site, Kat, Rob, and I chip in time and money each month to keep it running smooth and fast.
Eventually, we hope the site will be self-supporting financially, but that's a secondary goal below getting good tech and sharing it.
