New steering box on older trucks

Like the title says boys and girls. I know this issue has been discussed before
I'm feeling to replace my steering box as I have some slop everything else has been done. I read into some other threads about readhead and agr.

I read about someone thinking of using a new 2011 plus box on an older truck
Has anyone actually tried it there's two on eBay at the moment the appear to be the same

Won't work without custom frame work. The mounting points are different.

What about the pitman arm and input shaft? Do they match up? Does the pitman arm line up with the center link? Mounting points aren't a concern. I'd like to find a damn near destroyed unit for R&D
