Hello all.
Came back from a four hour trip recently with no issues other than losing coolant. This is normal, dropping the truck off later to get the head gaskets done. Anyhow, the next day I fire her up and I've got this new noise. It will happen while in any gear (including park). I dont hear anything while idling. Once you apply throttle, there is a metallic rubbing sound. Just like if you were vigorously rubbing two metal plates together. It will increase with RPM until the exhaust drowns it out. Not seeing any codes, no loss in drivability or significant boost loss. Did a search but never saw anything that fit. Has anyone else experienced this kind of noise? Thanks in advance.
Chris
