Ya you probably weren’t on a stock motor either lol

You'll benefit from bigger injectors on a stock motor just as much as being built. It may just be the ticket to keep the pistons happy IMO. Now 150s and 200s are a little much for the threshold of the 10mm pump your running but will a short pulse it'll do just fine untill you really want to push them. Mark won't have a problem there. I like staying with 100s and smaller for 10mm pump. My 10mm has ZERO issues with my SAC 100s in my LB7 but I also have pulse pretty low still.

Sounds like 100s is the way to go then? Will 100s be enough to keep my pistons happy at 700hp?

From what I’ve read 100’s are a great choice for the daily driver and up to 1100whp zone with proper air. Smoke is tolerable and pulse is pretty low at 700whp.

Well here’s the thing I know once my motor goes, I’m gonna have to do motor and i know my trans isn’t gonna live with a built motor power. And once i spend funds on a motor I’m not gonna be able to purchase a compound kit or another 10mm pump. I’ll really probably only stay at the s369sxe max power level for a long time.. it’s gonna get very expensive after already spending 15k in mods to get 700hp

You shouldn't have a problem with 100s Josh, but it's always a toss up on the LBZ-LMM pistons which we all know, although the extra fuel from the 150s and shorter pulse never hurts if you want to build in the future, once you max out that pump, it should be pretty easy to sell it and upgrade to a 12 or 14mm, or if you still have your stock cp3 just buy a 2xcp3 kit and throw it over the top when you want more, but with the proper air for example 69/84 setup that 10mm will put you in the 825-850ish range on 100-150s. If your going to be driving the truck a lot, 100s can be tuned to be smoke free. Once you step up to 150s they'll be a little more haze obviously. You know I run 100s, 10mm and 69 and I absolutely love it for daily driving. ZERO smoke and driveabilty is amazing.

Truck gets driven daily. I really appreciate the input although i still can’t decide lol. I just hope my pistons are still doing ok after 2 years of a hot tune.

What kind of power and times are you running with that setup Blake?

No problem buddy

[email protected] so far, pulse is pretty small still. Around 645-650ish according to weight and trap speed. Once I drop elevation I know the truck has 11.30-11.40s in it with a good 60' on that tune as I spun for 30ft on the 11.6 run. Does have 302k on her though so it'll be fun to see how far she'll go.
