Well it's been 15 years since I've bought something newer for myself. Been searching for an lbz with low miles. Took me 3 years but came across a one owner 06 with 108k miles. Driving it is different. A lot more power than the lb7. Never been tuned. All factory. I like it lol. So for I'm happy. Plan on pcv and egr delete. Paid 19k for it. Inside looks brand new.

Got the interior cleaned up yesterday. Which it didn't need much lol. I love how it has the manual ac controls. Can't stand the digital in the lb7. Put 200 miles on it so far. Balance rates still good so I hope I'm in the clear. Always nervous about a used truck and if there's some problem hiding lol.

I bought a 2007, same interior set up for 23 and drove 12 hours for it. Came with h2 wheels, gooseneck hitch and brake controller. 125k miles.

Been a damn good truck and happy with my purchase.

You did good yourself! Looks wicked good!

I have bought 3 used duramax's with less then 100 on the odometer. This last one was an lbz cc/sb with leather it had 93000 miles and I paid 24 for it. Out of all 3 used duramax's the only major thing I ever had go wrong was the transfer case went bad on the last one. You got a nice truck for the money. The only advice I could give you is remember this truck has vanes in the turbo that need to be opened up once in a while. Do you plan on keeping it stock?

Thanks yngdmax and firefight. I love it. Really. The previous owner did cut the muffler off and cat. I love the way it sounds. I wouldn't have done it. Glad he did. Let it breath right. I planned on leaving it stock but working on an lly today and pulling that egr intake pipe, I was like screw that. Egr delete coming soon. Screw that. Still reading on how to delete it without a tune. Pre filter I've got and ordering a fuel pump also. But besides that I don't need a 100hp tune.

Delete with a finger stick. Kennedy sells them I think. You can either do a blocker plate or get the y bridge and pipe combo and either an lb7 up pipe or aftermarket ones. If you do buy from Kennedy, I HIGHLY recommend his lift pumps. Look around. I dare ya to fine one bad review on em. While you’re in there, reroute your pcv as well. This gets rid of all the possibility of oil or sludge in your intake. I know you don’t want a tune, but trust me, even a 30-50hp tune can really turn your truck into another animal, and get better mpg.

Thanks zak. I've read on the finger sticks. Everything I've read said the tranny is ok for 50-100 hp. I put a simple 6psi fuel pump and cat pre filter on my lb7 and no issues. Even though this truck pulls harder than the lb7 can always use more power lol. Thanks again for the advise.

Got my new ride pulled in just in time. But 03 dmax, 08 stang, and my trusty 2000 blue took a beating. Hailed for at least 10-15 minutes hard

Thanks

Finally put here to work today. Not a heavy load but around 8k-10k pounds. Definitely can fell the extra power compared to the lb7. Also got my Kennedy pump in and tyger steps. Going to try and get them put on next week.
