Test hook less than a week away. I also wanted to mention that they have built a whole new track for the club. In fact they built two tracks, so there will be pulling side by side. Diesel trucks/tractors etc on the big sled, the smaller tractors and gas trucks with another(Test and tune will only have a single sled I believe). From what I understand, this coming weekend they will be doing tech as if it were a real pull. This way hopefully things will run much smoother at the May 20th pull. Paid members of the MVPLL will be given a "tech sticker" proven they have passed safety for the native class to help speed things up.

What happened at the test pull? I heard no one got to hook.

Track sucked! The combination of the wrong soil (Lack of Clay) and the rain last week made for a terrible track. After sitting around for 5hrs while they were trying to fix it they called everyone to center track and canceled it...:( Aparently they are digging out the existing soil and hauling in a bunch of clay for the 20th.

Yes sir, def sucked but it is what it is. I guess they left the track open for two weeks which is a no no and we just had a ton of rain. So the track never dried out, pretty wild actually it was like standing on a dirt pillow. Either way they seem determined to correct the issue and get it ready for the 20th...
