Building a 640 Hot/Pro Farm with a couple of guys.

Air/Water CAC showed up today

Got the Aqua Tigers mounted tonite

Mess of hoses (still more to come)

Got the fuel supply pump and water injection pump mounted, fuel tank is present but water tank is 3 weeks out, the shops very backed up.

Big order of An hoses and fittings showing up tomorrow to compete the majority of the plumbing. Icebox is being built by a neighbor. Ski bars from Ace Chassis, are in the mail. Finally making some progress.

just so we are clear on the pumps. The Fuel Lift pump is in the last picture, it is black with an aluminum clamp. the one that looks like a starter motor is the water injection pump and the dual aquatigers are for the intercooler.


I do not know model #s or anything on the pump. Got it in a kit from Fair Valley Performance. Localish High performance injection and turbo shop.

the pump flows 240 gallons per hour at 70psi and draws 28 amps the way we have it set. It is adjustable 3/4" NPT inlet, 3/4" NPT outlet, 1/4"NPT pressure port

I got the front hitch done yesterday

The icebox is done, and the turbo to intake manifold for when we are not running the air water CAC is doneish

Water injection manifold mounted and plumbed up to it, need to finish plumbing the other side of it though.

And all of the sheetmetal and such is off getting painted.

I guess to be competitive in the 640 Pro Farm Class you better be bringing 1200-1400hp and a lot of torque as its only a 3000RPM class. We have no clue where ours will be at, but have a lot of the parts to make decent power. Just have to wait and see how it runs down the track i guess

Heres a video of it running properly now. Found out we had a minor issue with the timing. It was set for TDC of the exhaust stroke on the #1 versus compression stroke. So 180* off on the pump, 360* off on the motor. Oops. So we pulled it apart and switched it to the proper setting. Runs like a top now.

Looking to make its first hook tonite. Still have a lot to finish up, a little more wiring, plumbing the water side of the Air water intercooler, plumbing the water injection and mounting the water injection tank, finishing the new steering setup since it broke a couple days ago during the test drive, mount the ski-bars, mount the secondary hitch, mount the explosion shields, then check for leaks and fix as necssary.

Gotta be on the trailer leaving by 5pm tonite, should be a long hard pressed day, heres some pictures or the progress. Literally nothing got done on the tractor since a couple months ago when we got it started up and running. Wednesday of this week we started working on it again and havent stopped.
