All straight from govt. liqudation 6.2's in a can, straight out of Humvees. Watch the auctions they go for under $100 sometimes for good clean engines.
Well she went down this morning. Girlfriend had to come rescue me with the 05. Good thing she can drive a truck and trailer! Almost 3 months and just over 6000 miles the tired old mechanical lift pump let go. Half way into my hour and a half drive to work it slowly went from 60mph to 40 and shut off. Would not restart, fuel filter was full of air. Tranny has also been slipping something fierce so I'm taking it as a sign to retire her. If all goes right my commute will go from 150 miles to 14 per day here in a couple weeks. I'm pulling the motor and scrapping the truck. Hopefully installing the motor in a k5 soon.
Moving closer to work. I got her running again off of a temp fuel can. Then got to work on pulling the motor out. I see it as a good thing, I really wanted a Detroit k5 anyway
