I'm looking at putting Finger's pistons into my built engine that has about 20K on it (still runs fine), what do you think new bearings and rebalance and call it good? his pistons should be close to what my stock cut are. I'm thinking maybe new crank but if this one mag test good (again) and has only minimal change is it even worth it? I haven’t figured out if I’m going to go girdle or not (right now I just have ARPs all the way around) so I don’t see a need to re line hone anything other than checking to make sure it is all flat

Should be just a clean up hone, right?

If it isnt worn too deep anywhere, and new rings of course.

Do you have a way to check the wear to make sure you dont neet to go up to a .020? If you're already buying new pistons it would be a good time to do that.

I only have stock cut and coated LB7s, and want more power. I know I'm up near the it might hold it might not area and would rather fix it before I break it

Crank it up till you break one:thumb:......I have a buddy that did 1000hp/1700ft lbs @ Danville on cut and coated LB7 pistons.

Right now I think I can do it for about the cost of the pistons, a gasket kit rings and maybe bearings. If I crack one it could cost me a lot more since I can't machine a block here so I would rather just do it now
