Finally the engine has made it home back into the old truck. It has been several months and I am looking forward to putting a few miles on her to break it in this weekend hopefully. I just need to pressure test and find a boost leak.

Hope that it runs as good as it looks. The short drive I took I believe it will be pretty nice to drive. The turbos seem to come on very well for not being able to make much boost before it leaks. I think I will find a leak at a v band. At least I hope that is it.

That is from Jegs. With going to the van thermostat housing it allowed me to clean up a lot of items. Every single fuel related supply and return have been addressed.

It opens up that valve cover area. Makes for easier working unless you are like me a find something else to put there.

That looks pretty!:thumb:

Thanks buddy. Its been a while since I've heard from you. It has can a long way since 2009 when you were down here.

Well I pressure tested everything and it turns out that I have a crack in a compressor cover. This occurred from a bad casting/ Manufacturing defect.

Something you could just drill the crack and weld it up or gonna just replace the cover?

It turned out the the bolt in that area was drilled too deep then tapped and caused the crack. I welded then ground her down and polished again.
