Lots of info there. As far as cost all depends on what you can find for parts. If yo can find a set of LLY heads and injectors on the cheap you got it made. If not gonna be a bit pricey.

i was looking into the same thing as you man....my injectors are going out and i was just thinking of buying a complete lly or lbz motor to throw in there...it seems like that would be the just as much work as doing injectors and i would have a newer motor

Best off swaping to a later model head (LLY, LBZ) that will rid you of your injector failures, and you won't miss the diesel power
