Just wanted to say hello to everyone here. I'm on a couple other Dmax forums and stumbled on this one, you can never learn too much so the more forums I'm on the more I learn. I will be deleting the Ford forums I used to go on after all my aftermarket Ford stuff sells!
I have been researching Dmaxes for the past 6-7 months through the duration of my Lemon Lawsuit with Ford. I'm VERY happy to say that I drove my 6.0L Excursion (amazed that it started) to the dealer last Thursday, gave them the keys, signed off the pink slip, and walked away.
I found a very clean 08 4WD GMC that I left a deposit on Monday and will take possession of on Monday Mar. 8 when my Lawyer's check clears. I can't wait! I'm ordering filters, fluids, Transgo JR, and a bunch of stuff to make it "fresh". I'm excited to start wrenching on it.
Good bye to five years of non-stop Ford problems and hello to hopefully years of a trouble free truck. :thumb:
