It's just how you want the tune to sound at idle. The tuner can set the turbo vanes to be more closed at idle which will make more of a hiss sound, or he can open them more to make more rumble. Your preference.
Right on. Thank you!

You can start working on it but you won't be able to drive it until you flash the tune. It will go to reduced engine power mode if you don't have the tune flashed.

Did you chose hiss or rumble?
Curious on the idle sound difference. Surely there are sound clips online somewhere. Does either effect the drone at cruising speed too?

Looking good. The EGR parts and up pipe are a bitch huh? It goes back together much quicker than it comes apart
True, the up pipe was a pain but everything went well. I got pretty much everything back together, I fired up the truck just to check for leaks and so far it looks good...no leaks! I couldn't install the exhaust all the way to the back. It fits good until after the Muffler Delete. Mid tailpipe seems to go too far back and it leaves no room for the last part that goes passed the rear end.
Any input would be gladly appreciated!
What's your cab configuration? Are you trying to install all the pieces? Unless it's a crew long bed you won't need all the pieces. Depending on brand you might have to cut down the mid pipe.
If it a truck or exhaust kit I've never used before I usually install the front pipe, then tail pipe and muffler/ muffler delete pipe, and see which pieces of the mid section I need.

I used the #3 Eng fuse for my lift pump.
Thank you.
I got the fass installed but I ran into a problem. After I was done with the whole installating the fass I let the Pump run for 15 sec. Then I start the truck and it run for a couple minutes after that the truck won't start...?
