So I got most of the parts that I'm going to install to the truck downpipe, exhaust, egr delete up pipe, fass 150,air intake and cts 2 monitor. My auto cal won't be here till Tuesday so my question is what can I install before I have to use the auto cal just wondering rather I start working in the truck or should I wait till I get it. TIA.

You can start working on it but you won't be able to drive it until you flash the tune. It will go to reduced engine power mode if you don't have the tune flashed.

Did you chose hiss or rumble?

Curious on the idle sound difference. Surely there are sound clips online somewhere. Does either effect the drone at cruising speed too?

I went for the rumble, and I'm doing a full delete with a 3' down pipe and 5' exhaust. I'm hoping to see some good results.

Today it was a pretty good day I was able to take about 70 lbs of scrap metal off the truck. I'm still have to take the up pipe and will be ready to install the new parts. Not to bad so far.

I had a bit of a trouble trying to get the last 2 bolts from the up pipe, one stating to strip so I had to use a different socket to get it out also I had to move the coolant line to get to it.
I also cut the top of the up pipe to make some room.

Looking good. The EGR parts and up pipe are a bitch huh? It goes back together much quicker than it comes apart :)

True, the up pipe was a pain but everything went well. I got pretty much everything back together, I fired up the truck just to check for leaks and so far it looks good...no leaks! I couldn't install the exhaust all the way to the back. It fits good until after the Muffler Delete. Mid tailpipe seems to go too far back and it leaves no room for the last part that goes passed the rear end.
Any input would be gladly appreciated!

What's your cab configuration? Are you trying to install all the pieces? Unless it's a crew long bed you won't need all the pieces. Depending on brand you might have to cut down the mid pipe.

If it a truck or exhaust kit I've never used before I usually install the front pipe, then tail pipe and muffler/ muffler delete pipe, and see which pieces of the mid section I need.

I have a crew cab short bed, I'm gonna try to do it that way and yes it looks like I will have to cut some of the mid pipe that totally make sense. So I'll give it a try and see what happens !
Thank you.

Every generation of dmax is different so I can't give you a specific fuse but if you have a test light, find one that is lit with key on and with engine on but not with key removed or key in accessory mode. A lot of the 10A fuses that are eng, ign, ecm... Are usually Tue ones to check first.

I used the #3 Eng fuse for my lift pump.

Thank you.

I got the fass installed but I ran into a problem. After I was done with the whole installating the fass I let the Pump run for 15 sec. Then I start the truck and it run for a couple minutes after that the truck won't start...?

Take your bleeder screw loose at the factory fuel filter and turn the key on until you have fuel. Then crank until it starts.
