I pushed my 15 to 44 psi regularly, she was going strong at 51k when I traded her. They are capable of more than you think. Its all in how you drive it, not necessarily much boost it makes, within reason that is...:spit:

I would build the trans, get really good tuning, swap in cp3 if you feel nervous about cp4 (I dont) and leave it alone. Lml's are best left stockish, they can make 550 with a cp4 and 600 with a cp3 conversion. There are too many hidden tables to tune them properly once you start swapping turbos and injectors (fyi, stock lml injectors are the equivalent to 60 over lbz) they get real funky and temperamental...
I agree with you on this except for the swapping turbos.. If you swap in a fixed vane turbo you shouldn't have any trouble tuning it I don't believe.. Mine has been running awesome for over a year now..
