New LML upgrades for 650hp

I am wanting to get to around 650 rwhp and I have a few questions.

-First regarding the cp4, if I run a dual kit (adding a Cp3) can you reach that mark without a lift pump?

-Second, what turbo would be most cost effective to support air up to 650-700hp?

Thanks for the input!

Do yourself a favor and do a stroker Cp3 conversion.

You probably wouldn't have to do a lift pump with duals...... But I would regardless of your cp3/cp4 setup.

Twins or a fleece S468 should get you there. The S468 would take a lot of the tuning headaches out of it also.

Yup what he said ^^

Stroker cp3 conversion keeps clutter down and more reliable i would say..

And I love my single but my brother has a 475 over stock with stroker cp3 conversion also and that thing is stout at a lot lower rpm than mine for sure.. Mine does just as good or better but just need a little more rpm first..

As far as cost difference though I'm not sure, think it's pretty close to the same..

TX of course
If he want to do a single fixed vane couldn't he get way with with a 300 frame. I would think a sportsman pump would get him as close to 700 as you want to get. Really looking at build engine territory.

If a twin kit is the way to go that's what I will do. just not sure whats best. I was also looking at the duramax tuner 64mm replacement (stock appearing turbo)

Lower your goals just a bit and get a 366......drivability should be pretty good... if you want a fixed vane. Your priority needs to be getting rid of cp4

If you can handle low 600s.. I've been in talk with a company and can be done with stock turbo, with new compressor housing and wheel. CP3 conversion, lift pump, Y bridge (egr delete), and tuning.

Route I plan on taking after I get the trans/torque converter built, lift pump installed and the traction bars.

Should make low 500s on stock turbo, lift pump, intake, exhaust, deleted, tuned. Thats the plan at least from what I've seen.

Lift pump, 10mm cp3, injectors, compounds or bigger single, transmission... I had a s475 over stock, 10mm cp3 and stock injectors on my 2012 and it just hardly got over 600. Also budget for a motor, mine only lasted 4K miles on 40% overs and a S369.

Fass
10mm cp3
Built Trans
Sxe 69

That will get 650rwhp no issues. Some Injectors will make it easier but not needed.

I did a lml for a guy has a sportsman cp3, 68stg2r from Danville and my built Trans and ppei tuning did 620 on the dyno losing some rail

What is failing in the lml motor? I thought they were holding up under a lot more hp?

Trans is the same, I know the converter is a weak point but how is the rest of the Allison holding up?

I had 4 cracked pistons. Unknown cause but have a few suspicions. I started getting TC chatter after installing the CP3 on stock turbo, most noticeable under partial throttle around 50-60mph while climbing a small grade. Had the trans done and no issues with it since.

I would build the trans, get really good tuning, swap in cp3 if you feel nervous about cp4 (I dont) and leave it alone. Lml's are best left stockish, they can make 550 with a cp4 and 600 with a cp3 conversion. There are too many hidden tables to tune them properly once you start swapping turbos and injectors (fyi, stock lml injectors are the equivalent to 60 over lbz) they get real funky and temperamental...
