First thing this morning I dug into this situation and discovered that my shipping dept. inadvertently sent some nuts out to this customer that should have been in quarantine.
A long story, bottom line, I am ultimately resposible for everything my employees do, both good and bad. It is up to me to put the proper procedures in place to allow my guys to perform their work mistake free.
I have a fantastic group of guys, and I can't do it all myself. I depend upon them to make our company great. So we made the necessary procedural corrections so something like this can't happen again, and we move forward.
Today, we overnighted the correct parts to the customer in Canada.
