Good Morning!

I currently have a 2015 GMC Sierra All Terrain with 35,000 miles and looking hard at a 2014 GMC Sierra 2500 SLE w/leather 4x4 Z71 30,000 miles. Currently I am not towing any big loads but may in the future. I am mostly looking at durability, bench leather seat as I have 5 kids, and longevity.
I travel 600 miles a week easy for work.
Dealership will even trade. Should I jump?
Thanks!

Tried to post pictures but cannot yet due to restrictions

Mileage will be less with the diesel. What mpg are you getting now.

The diesel will be around 13-17 nog. Remove emissions and programming cost around 1K. Might get you to the same mileage, but there's the Lml cp4 to worry about later down the road.

The Cp4 is the fuel pump, earlier models had some probs but believe was updated in 14. Well def wont be as refined as that all terrain or ride as well, would recommend not getting a diesel if you don't need it. Repairs can be outrageous out of warranty.

Take the diesel for a test drive. You'll know after 5 minutes of driving it if you want to do the trade or not.

You sound like you're trying to find a way to be convinced to buy the diesel. Stay with the gasser. You'll be happier in the long run.

More expensive to upkeep. Gas is cheaper. I've got two diesels and my daily is a 6.0 gasser
