Bouncing to board to board I think I've found the right one best resources my opinion. New diesel owner bought my 02 2500 hd about a year ago and am in the middle of a injector change am stuck on how clean I need to get the head where the injector cup sits?

Small wire brush with a small square of scotch brite pad stuck on the end, cordless drill lightly touch the cup seat. Check your progress often, aluminum can disappear in a hurry.

You can try the scotch brite but those pits look pretty deep. Pictures can be deceiving though.
