Hello my name is Mark and this is my first diesel truck. I was looking for a vehicle that would reliably tow to the Keys or Gulf coast with economy in mind, I finally made the switch when I found this amazing truck earlier this year. Looking for as much information and experience from others in the care, maintenance and reliability of my new ride, a daily driver that tows on weekends. So far I have only experienced the U0106 code (not able to communicate with the glow plug controller). Not that it was really needed here in Florida, I was lucky enough in just replacing the GPCM to correct the problem and clear the code in the DIC.

Welcome! Lots of good info and help here. LLYs are great trucks, mine has been towing our 5th wheel trouble free for over 6 years now, I get between 11.5-12.5 mpg depending upon terrain. If the asthmatic turbo mouthpiece hasn't been fixed yet, that would be the first thing you should do.
