I know what the DPF is what is the DOC?
Do any of you guys ever have any trouble with the boys in blue when you let out a big cloud of black smoke. Or do you just pay attention to when and where you do it. You can take off without doing it can't you? Like I said I have alot to learn. If I was to get a PPE with DPF delete and exhaust how would it be.

Lord yeah I get pulled over all the time if your street racing just build boost to about 8 to 10 pounds then go but if you wanna blow some smoke check everywere then go

I have got 2 tickets for noise through exhuast and unnecessary smoke and driving wreaklessly the other 30 times they just give me a hard time and told me to go home

DOC = Diesel Oxidation Catalyst it is like a CAT on a gasser.

I have never got a ticket for smoke but I run EFI live and try to tune out most of the smoke so unless I am doing a hard launch. If you drive in a good manner and not trying to make smoke you should be fine.

Got it thanks. I think I am going with one og PPE tuners and an exhaust just not sure on the exhaust yet any suggestions.

I have EFI live my street tune aint that bad at all but when i race some these hotter dodges i run my dyno tune rob built me and it smokes like the dickens on take off then it goes to a haze when I get about 25 lbs of boost on hot nights but now thats it cooler its not as bad but I still get pulled over cause you can here my truck very well in town racing from light to light then the cops set and hide and watch for you

I went with the MBRP 304SS 4" cat back then added the 403SS front pipe I love it but there are others out there. Also you would look for one for the older trucks as the kit I got was for an LBZ and it fit good but I am not a fan of the clamps and I will like to change them one day.

Well I thought about it all night and thought I had my mind made up. Then I got on this morning and othrgrl from Diesel Addictions said he could set up the EFI Live for me. He could set me up with a couple different tunes and there is a on the fly opition coming soon which I really want. Anyone know when that will be out? And another thing if I get to the point down the road I want to expand I can with EFI Live.
