New guy from WA state.

Hey guys, not new to forums, but new to this one.
Recently bought a 2011 Silverado CC LTZ. This is my first diesel. Had a 2000 silvy extended cab 2500 6.0L that was a great truck but it was time to upgrade. Love the towing performance if this thing!
It's totally stock. Not sure what all I want to do yet. Still working on educating myself on these motors. I can't delete anything due to emissions testing here.
Look forward to reading threads and learning more. I love the info a good forum can provide.

Your truck won't have to do emissions testing in Washington State.

These diesel vehicles never need emission tests:
All diesel powered passenger vehicles weighing less than 6,001 pounds

All diesel vehicles model year 2007 and newer, regardless of weight.
