Hey everybody!
Finally getting around to make a post on DD, I live in Northern Baltimore County/ New Freedom area

Long Story somewhat short My father has an 03 lb7 that he bought new in 03 and I begged him to buy a new one and sell me his however to no avail he never budged so I went out and bought an 04lly.

I really wanted an lb7 but i got the truck for a decent price and only 70k on the clock about a year and a half ago.

I was really into building cars but started to tinker in the diesel world since I needed to be able to drive places in bad weather and tow my bike around and equipment for my fathers business.

Well here it is:
04 LLY EC/SB

- AFE inlet
- AFE Drop-in
- 5" Diamond eye exhaust, straight pipe, 6" tip. Cant decide whether to put the stack I have on :confused:
-PCV re route
-EGR Blocker Plate
-EFI Live from Reiff Diesel & turbo vanes closed at idle.

What we ended up doing was I was having some boost fluctuation issues with PPE at highway speed, light throttle.
I called him up about getting the vanes changed because I hate the annoying vaccuum sound and I decided to tackle both when I went to visit him.
I like Lee, he seems like a good guy and very knowledgeable.
We pulled the Level three PPE Tune off of the truck and used that as a starting point in EFI Live. Some of the graphs we brought up were odd so we pretty much went through the fueling/timing, and boost and did our own thing.

It does run better and I noticed that it smokes a good bit less.

I havent had the truck on the dyno but it steady rips at 30lbs. I pretty much told him what I wanted and he did his best. I still have a stock allison and its holding great. Not insane power but its nowhere near stock :)

Ok, I've heard of you, you're truck actually. lol. You are one of the "urban legends" with your 700 hp truck. Do you have anywhere near that or is it typical kid stories (ppe hot+2 on a stock truck = 700 hp and roasting the tires at 70 mph)?
