Morning All,

Just converted over to an 06 Chevy Extended cab with the LBZ from my 03 F350 with the 7.3l. Loved the previous motor, but that was about all!

I DD my truck, and tow a 24 ft enclosed trailer with my off-road truck (84 Toyota on ton's, running on propane). I also move some cars around for friends/family, so there is always something for the truck to do.

So, i am new to these trucks, but have a few friends that have them, and they told me the LBZ/6 speed allison was the combo to get, so thats what i did. I have a lot of looking thru the forum ahead of me to see what are some common fixes that need to be done to these truck (lift pump mod and fuel pressure relief valve are the two i have read about). So any input ya'all have to help direct my searches would be greatly appreciated!

Also, i am already in contact with Tony from Ridge Runner Diesel, as he is nice and local in CT.

Here are some pics of my junk!

I'm sure if you search thru here you will find threads about doing them, I know there was one not long ago about the PVC reroute, and a hint on the pump rub kit drop the transfer case out and do it on a table we did mine in the truck and it sucked

Thanks guys! Just got my tunes from Tony at Ridge Runner Diesel, and i gotta say, even with stock transmission safe tunes what a difference.

Just towed the trailer and i am def getting way better responsive out of the pedal and much better MPG. I'll have some hard numbers by the end of the weekend!

Onto the rest of the mods that need to happen....think the pump rub will be next. Then what....
