I'm planning on going to the 1/8th mile track down the road for grins. What tire pressure would you recommend for the following truck and any other tips you might want to throw out there. (yes, i have read all over the forums but I thought I would ask anyway!) I will be dropping the torsion bars all the way down.

stock 245/75r16 tires
stock trans w/transgo jr

Do you have sleeves? Leave on the last yellow light.

no sleeves, just have to keep it light on the launch.

Take everything out of the truck that you can. Try to go with somewhere between 1/4 and 1/8 tank of fuel. Front tires at 35, rear tires at 30 (you can drop it from there if you need to). I would start off launching at around 1800 RPM and go up from there until your 60' times suffer. As long as you have your torsion bars all the way down, you should be fine without sleeves if you are running stock wheels.
