I think its a great all around turbo! A good match with my 50hp nozzles. On the stock tune it feels just a bit more peppy than a stock LMM. The only thing I don't like is I can still peg out my 1600° EGT gauge. This elevation doesn't help. So I'm working with Trent right now on debating whether I can convert my 66 to a 71 or if I should just buy a new S371 or S472. Then I'll probably compound off those once the engine is built.

Twistedmetal, if I end up going with a new S371 or S472 I'd be more than happy to make ya a deal on my S366 kit. It does need to be rebuilt so we'll see what route I take.

I might have to think about getting one then. I just don't know what to get now. Everyone talks about a certin turbo spools up great but they dont know how hard it is to spool up at 10,000 feet.

I have a big in-bed camper along with a four wheeler trailer that I've hauled over Eisenhower plenty of times. It spools and tows great for me. However its not a 'set the cruise and forget it' type of turbo as you do have to manually kick it down a gear sometimes. I have the 16cm or roughly 1.0 exhaust housing on mine. I'm sure if you bumped it down to the 13cm housing it would spool better up at this elevation. But I have no issues with manually shifting the truck. On some of the long uphill pulls I just hit four gear, part throttle, with my water-meth and it'll hit 30psi easily.
